Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
It's Christmas-time! To celebrate the birth of our Savior, we will be holding a Christmas Eve Candlelight service beginning at 7:00 PM. This is a special service in that it will be a full-length worship service featuring special music and contributions from many. In fact, if you'd like to perform a piece of music, sing a solo, read a Scripture or poem or share a testimony, please contact Pastor Barry so he can include you in the celebration.
We will not be holding a regular worship service on Sunday morning (Christmas Day) in order to accommodate our families with children. This is the reason for the Christmas Eve service not being the usual brief devotional service we typically hold.
Adult Sunday Morning Study
We've combined our Sunday morning Bible studies into one class for all adults. Throughout the Winter of 2022-2023, we'll be studying the first 11 chapters of the gospel of John. Who is Jesus? What makes Him unique? Why did He come to earth? Why would I want to relationship with Jesus and how is it even possible? We will be digging in deep to the Word of God and answering these questions as well as seeing how these foundational chapters can be applied to our lives today. This class meets at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings just following the time of worship. This study allows for you to join any time.
Romans: Our Next Adventure in the Scripture
We will be diving in deep into the apostle Paul's magnum opus on the gospel of grace: Romans. If you've never studied this book, I highly recommend you join us for this one as we will cover the gospel in its fullest form.
Also, it's not just a men's study any longer. On Tuesday nights the men will continue to meet at the pastor's house at 6:30 for this study. However, due to demand, on Wednesday nights we'll be conducting the same study but it will be for anyone who is interested: men, women, couples, youth, whoever! It'll begin at 6:30 and there will be child-care available. (In the words of the apostle Paul, "You are without excuse..." All you need to bring is a teachable heart and your Bible.
